How can you access your AList at home anytime, anywhere? In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to achieve remote access in just 3 easy steps.

First, download the AList client from the official website. AList offers multiple download options—just follow the instructions to install according to your needs.

Once installed, add your storage drive. In the storage list, click [Add], then select a new storage drive in [Driver]. You can refer to the official “Add Storage” guide, fill in the mount path, and click [Add]. After that, you’ll see the new storage displayed on the AList homepage.

To enable remote access, log into the AweShell cloud management platform. After logging in, go to [NAT Traversal] → [Add Mapping], choose [Web Application], and configure the external domain name and local IP for AList. Once confirmed, an external access address will be generated.

For better security, go to [More Settings] → [Security Settings], and enable Password Authentication. With this, every login will require a password for verification before entering the AList dashboard.

Finally, open the generated external address in your browser, enter your username and password, and you’re in!
